I am both very sad and very happy that Serina is going to the USA next month. I will be sad to see Serina leave Luminant class and I may never see her again but I’m also very happy because I know she will have a wonderful life in the USA. She has been a wonderful student since the day I met her. She is always friendly and outgoing to teachers and students. She is very good at English and she always seems eager to learn more. It’s because of that I think she will be very happy and make plenty of friends in her new home. Even though she still has an accent when she speaks, I think it will eventually get better. She has certainly touched the lives of many teachers here at SLP and she will be remembered fondly. Wherever she goes, I hope she never forgets Sandy Teacher, Kyle Teacher, all her friends in Luminant class!
